What Makes Multiflora Special
Multiflora Honey is our most versatile variety, harvested from apiaries placed in biodiverse regions where bees forage across dozens of wildflower species. The result is a complex, well-rounded honey that reflects the full spectrum of seasonal flora. Each batch is subtly different, making it a true expression of terroir.
Where It Comes From
Multiflora Honey is harvested from apiaries stationed in biodiverse regions across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and the central Indian highlands — wherever wildflowers, herbs, and forest trees bloom simultaneously. Unlike our monofloral varieties where hives target a single flower species, our multiflora hives are placed in mixed-vegetation zones where bees forage freely across dozens of nectar sources: neem, eucalyptus, wild herbs, field flowers, and seasonal blooms. This diversity produces a honey with a complex nutritional profile that no single-flower honey can match. Each batch reflects the unique flora of that season and location — a true expression of Indian terroir.
Flavor Profile
Multiflora Honey sits at the sweet centre of our range — balanced, approachable, and universally appealing. The flavour is medium-sweet with gentle floral notes and a warm, rounded finish. The colour ranges from golden amber to deeper tones depending on the season and dominant floral sources. Spring batches tend to be lighter and more floral; monsoon batches are darker and more robust. The aroma is pleasantly complex — hints of wildflowers, warm grass, and faint herbal notes. This is the honey that everyone loves: neither too mild nor too bold, perfect for everyday use.

Culinary & Wellness Uses
Multiflora Honey is the all-rounder of our collection. Use it anywhere you would use sugar: in tea, coffee, baking, cooking, marinades, dressings, and desserts. It is the best choice for recipes where you want honey flavour without a specific floral character dominating the dish. Drizzle over morning oats, granola, or fresh fruit. Use as a 1:1 sugar substitute in smoothies and shakes. In baking, it adds moisture and a gentle sweetness to cakes, muffins, and cookies. It is also the most popular choice for gifting — its universal appeal makes it a safe and delightful choice for anyone.
How We Process It
Multiflora Honey is harvested throughout the year as our hives migrate across different regions. Each extraction is batch-coded with the exact location, date, and dominant flora assessment from our beekeepers. The honey is cold-extracted, coarse-strained, and settled before jarring — the same process as all our varieties. Because multiflora honey comes from diverse sources, we pay particular attention to pollen analysis: each batch is examined under a microscope to document the pollen profile, which tells us exactly which flowers contributed to that specific harvest. This analysis is available to customers through our traceability system.
How to Verify Purity
Multiflora honey should have a complex, multi-layered flavour — not a single-note generic sweetness. If your multiflora honey tastes flat and one-dimensional, it may be adulterated with sugar syrup. Genuine multiflora honey will crystallise at varying rates depending on the dominant flora of that batch — some batches stay liquid for months, others crystallise within weeks. Both are normal. The colour should range from golden to medium amber — not artificially clear or unnaturally dark. NectaBee's pollen analysis report for each batch shows the diversity of floral sources, which is the ultimate proof of authenticity.
